Hello! My name is Cindy and I am new to San Diego. I am so excited to get to know my new city, and thought there is no better way to do it than with other Local Google Guides. I would like to meet up for a short walking tour, starting in Little Italy and ending at the USS Midway (1 mile) MEET-UP TIME: March 16th 3:00PM Suggested route (we can stop along the way to explore/take photos) 1. MEETING POINT: Piazza Basilone - Corner of India & Fir St. (At the Globe Water Fountain) You can use the restaurant, Civico 1845 for your GPS Places to visit along the way 2. #ThatRedChairSD (we can take pictures sitting at this famous chair) Waterfront Park 3. Maritime Museum of San Diego (We will not enter the museum) 4. END POINT: In front of the USS Midway OPTIONAL: Snack and Beverages at Beach Hut Deli - 900 Bayfront Ct, San Diego, CA 92101 Has Coffee/Food-Snacks/Beer & WIne WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? - Take photos of the surroundings - Get to know each other and two of the most famous neighborhoods in San Diego: Little Italy and Embarcadero - At the end of the walk, everyone is invited to join me to get some *coffee/snacks/drinks at Beach Hut Deli *This is a NO cost/NO fee tour - drinks and food are NOT included Please RSVP if you are coming to this meet-up!
