Climbing on Mountain and getting wet into waterfalls both are very strong addiction probably nature hides it by itself. May be few people addicted by this types of feeling and get the chance to enjoy raw beauty of nature.
This tour was the most longest and one of the adventures trekking tour in my life where I and some of my friends climbed on top of Keokradong, Tazing Dong, unofficial highest mountain of Bangladesh named Saka Haphong and many more.
Most of the time we were out of the mobile network coverage area and also had not proper charging facilities for mobile and cameras. Sorry for posting low quality images.
One important thing I forget to mention that we took rest, food and passed night at different tribal people’s
home. They were very friendly, gentle, brave and definitely hard working. They not only received us cordially
but also served us as their available resources where water, foods and other things very limited.
Below take a look on our route plan short description how did we go there.
Started From Dhaka to Bandarban on 20 Nov 2014 at 10:30pm
Day-1: 21 Nov 2014
- Reached Bandarban by Bus From Dhaka about 7:10 am
- Started from Bandarban Town to Ruma Bazar about 8:20 am by Bus
- Reached Ruma Bazar about 11:25 am and took food and break
- Started from Rumabazar to Boga Lake about 12:40 pm by Chader Gari (Jip)
- Reached neal Boga Lake about 2:15 pm from where trekking route started
- Stated 1 hour treeking to reach Boga Lake
- Reached Boga Lake about 3:20 pm
- Passed Night at Boga Lake.
Day-2: 22 Nov 2014
- Started trekking From Boga Lake to Keokradong about 6:50 am
- Reached at Keokradong about 9:15 am and took break for breakfast.
- Started Trekking from Keokradong to Baklai para about 11:00 am
- Took a break at zoom Ghor about 2:30 pm
- Started trekking and reached Baklai para about 5:20 pm
- Passed nigh at Baklai para.
Day-3: 23 Nov 2014
- Starting trekking From Baklai para about 8:10 am.
- Reached at Simtalamping Para about 10:10 am
- Took food, rest and messaging at Simtalamping Para after unwanted accident.
- Started trekking again about 1:10 pm
- Cross Thandui Para about 2:20 pm
- Reached at Hanjurai para about 5:15 pm
- After a break, started trekking again about 5:30 pm
- After trekking at night we reached nephew para about 8:20 pm
- Passed Night at Nephew Para
Day-4: 24 Nov 2014
- Strated Trekking from Nephew para about 6:50 am
- Summit Saka Haphong Peak about 8:15am
- Cameback to Nephew para from Saka Haphong about 11:10 am and took food
- Started Trekking from Nephew para to Simtalamping para about 11:45 am
- Reached Hanjurai para about 1:25 pm and took a break
- Reached Simtalamping para about 6:20 pm
- Celebrating Saka Haphong Summit by BBQ at Simtalamping para and passed night here.
Day-5: 25 Nov 2014
- Started Trekking from Simtalamping para about 4:30 am
- Reached Tazing Dong peak about 6:40 am
- Started trekking about 7:20 am from Tazing Dong
- Reached Sherkor para about 8:25 am
- Started trekking from sherkor para about 8:45 am
- Reached Boarding para about 10:40 am
- From there Reached Thanchi Bazar about 1:30 pm
- Reached Bandarban that day by bus from Thanchi
- Started to Dhaka from Bandarban by Bus that night.
