On Friday, I encountered an old woman baking bread on the way Shabankareh, I allowed her to take a photo of her. Locals call this pan " Saj " (The pan on which the bread is baked).

Personally, I think that such old ways of making the bread, and not only, must be preserved as they are the proof of history and tradition.

Is this bread prepared in a particular area in the country, or it’s a widespread one?

Most of the western region of Iran is baked on Saj.

No, by the roadside, there are shops selling bread.
