Saint Paul's Church, Ambala, Haryana, India

This beautiful place of worship fell prey to war. Though it was counted among the oldest churches of North India. Today it has become history.

Almost everyone is aware of the consequences of war. Whoever wins the war, the defeat is of humanity. While roaming in Ambala, I got the opportunity to visit a place of worship which almost vanished in the war of 1965. Today only a few traces of it are left. It is the misfortune of St. Paul’s Church, Ambala, which was located at Alexandra Road which was established for worship in 1857, its own existence has vanished, because of enemies of humanity and greedy leaders.

A place of worship from where messages of charity and love were given for more than 100 years, where people’s prayers alleviated their sufferings, today only traces remain of this place of worship which has fulfilled its glorious purpose.
