Saint-Monon local craft brewery is located in a tiny village of Ambly, part of Nassogne municipality in south of Belgium. We went to visit it during free afternoon, while on a business trip at the nearby village of Harsin.
I like beer and have tried a lot of them, but I must admit this was one of the best I tried until this day. We had a small tour around the factory, which quite small and managed by few people. We found out that they are using local water sources (which is important to the beer production) and they sell the beer to just couple of nearby towns.
Very nice @Budjism , I love trying locally produced beer and Belgium has a reputation like no other. I’m a big fan of Belgian beer but have yet to actually travel there.
I think my favorite beer is an ice cold Hoegaarden in a chilled glass on a warm summer day. It doesn’t get much better than that.
No, not really. If I have a choice a like to try out new craft beers. The thing has become quite popular in Serbia nowadays. But usually it is just regular industrial beer, since it can be found anywhere.
I think the whole craft beer stage is getting popular in a lot of places @Budjism . I see craft beer shops pop up everywhere around Europe and I only wish I could try them all, but it seems there are way to many breweries and too little time.
