This picture was captured in October 2019.

Mostly it remain closed as on Sunday I had visited but it was not open.

Why did you caption the post church in the wilderness?

Was it the missionaries that built the church or the government?

It was built during the British Rule after the Anglo Nepalis war in 1846. It was the favourite health resorts of British Soldiers and the summer retreat of European families. It was discovered by the P Barron in 1841 while he was on a Himalayan Trek of 2400 kilometers.
