Wow you said it ,

Rice it is the main item in sadya

These are wonderful pictures @Decapolis … Sadya has always been on favourite list. Never had a chance to have this, but would to try sometime in future. I have heard that it is the festive dish of Vishu. I want to know that is it also served during Onam?

Thank you very much @FalguniP for tagging me here. You have reminded me the memories of Kerala. :grinning:

Hello friend,
I think people outside Kerala believe that this is a festive feast, but the fact is that in every traditional Kerala wedding we serve Sadya and three or more payasam (sweet dessert) and when ever you visit Kerala again then please to alapuzha and enjoy valla sadya (sadya in boat) i believe this would be the great sadya and will be a memorable experience you get.
