Thank you for taggging me in this post about “The Capital”. I have been several times to Rome, and what I like most of all about this city is the unique vibe and the accent of the people. There’s one funny thing that I have noticed, every foreigner that settle down in Rome and learn to speak in Italian get quite naturally the Roman accent.

Mine was Piazza di Spagna, even though always crowded.
I personally like the “Borghi” @InaS .
Trastevere has a special atmosphere, especially in spring time at sunset. I know you also like photography, so next time you visit Rome I suggest you to take a picture during the night of Altare della Patria. You can get a super nice shot if you got a good camera.

@InaS , indeed Piazza di Spagna is always swarming of people. My favorite place is Colosseum, and oddly enough it’s not because of its history but when I was first there a couple of newlyweds asked me to take them a photo. I think Rome is popular destination for honeymoon.
