Today I had the huge pleasure of meeting @PrasadVR and learning from him in his hometown of Visakhapatnam. Prasad is an experienced Road editor, so I took the liberty to invite myself to visit him.
He kindly hosted me and showed me his city, and we had time to share tips and tricks on editing roads in person. Some tips and tricks cannot be communicated easily over text or video, so we both thoroughly enjoyed the ping-pong of asking questions and demonstrating our styles of editing roads. It was a huge privilege to learn from him first hand.
In the afternoon, we went out to take some storefront photos, aiming to get some photos featured. He succeeded in taking the cover photo of this place.
I am quite jealous and happy to see you both. Itâs so good that you made the effort. Hopefully youâll meet some other local guides if possible.
Let me guess, as a result of this trip, are we having one more professional road editor on TRAC next season (If there is)???
Have a good trip and thank you for sharing this with us. Congratulations @PrasadVR. You are a very special local guide to get a visit from a moderator and in particular a person like Morten.
Hello @MortenCopenhagen, Thank you so much for visiting me in my hometown of Visakhapatnam. It was an absolute honor and pleasure to host you.
I truly enjoyed our time together, and I learned so much from you, especially the brilliant tips and tricks for editing roads and photos. It was a fantastic experience to learn from you in person. I was so excited to apply the photo tricks you showed me, and I was thrilled to see my photo become the cover photo for the POI while you were still here. I hope you had a great time here.

The sign is a popular landmark for tourism and local pride, but itâs not related to the Google AI Hub and Data Center. In fact, it was installed long before the decision to establish those facilities here. Itâs purely a celebration of our cityâs rich history and spirit. Thanks for your interest.
Cool @PrasadVR and @MortenCopenhagen . This are the kinds of meetings that makes Localguidesconnect so fantastic. Really nice. I always love to meet local Guides from around the world.
