I know how to add roads . I just want to know few things added by Google recently… How can you define main road and local road how can you differentiate between both… Can you clarify with an example

Good luck, but be aware that sometimes making changes to Google Maps can be more difficult in some areas. India is one of those places.

You can’t define the main road or a local road.
Even, Google Maps relies on data provided by the administrative authorities in the respective regions.
In India, the classification of roads is decided by the Indian Road Congress, a semi-official body set up by GOI.
The current classification includes national highways, state highways, district roads and village roads (or city/local roads). In short, you can’t change a local road to the main road unless that meets the standards stipulated by IRC.
You will see a feedback option in the map, in that you will get the road ad missing place. Thank you.
