River Rafting in Rishikesh (India)

River Rafting is one of those adventure sports which requires a lot of courage and seriously it can be termed as an uphill task.

India is one of the popular destinations for River Rafting, which is organized at many places on different rivers.

The most famous river rafting experience one gets at Rishikesh. It is the place where River Ganga (also called Ganges) flow through Himalaya mountains. Himalayas are relatively young, and so are its rivers. The flow of Ganga is really spontaneous and turbulent. Many tourists spend considerable time at this place. Rishikesh is also called as Yoga capital of the World, so many people stay here for quite long.

I did river rafting many years back in 2013 and now I’m craving to do again.

Here I would like to show photos taken by me and my friends during our tour. All credits goes to @VasT who encouraged me to share these pictures. A big Thanks to her :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you so much for taking some of your time to write this much-anticipated post @Tushar18. You seem like you had a lot of fun, which means you should do it again! Here is a photo of the last time I went for rafting. This time was in the Struma River.

We had some turbulent moments, but it was all fun in the end.

@VasT … initially we felt scary, but later we enjoyed a lot !!! Yes, we are planning to do it again.

You have a picture of turbulent flows. We were not able to click that moment during our time. We all were busy in rowing through that flow.
