Describe what the photo is all about, what it means to you and what makes it a great photo.

I shot this photo on June 5th of 2020, after staying home for almost 3 months, due to shelter in place order due to the spread of Covid-19. As you can imagine it is on hard on every one, specially if you are a shutterbug. Things were slightly relaxed in bay area, we decided to do a family picnic at Manhattan Beach, which is right next to Ritz-Carlton, Halfmoon Bay, just need to take California Coastal trail from Ritz-Carlton to the beach. Generally Halfmoon Bay coast is foggy during dawn and dusk, however weather god was cooperative to capture some sunset colors.

I also posted an article about California Coastal Trail on connect which got featured in one of the Friday Favorites posts. Friday Favorites

Explain how you think that photo would help the business listing.

Well this picture breaks some of the rule set in the #CommunityPhotoChallenge. It is not necessarily nicely lit, since it was shot during sunset. However POIs like this which is located in a beautiful scenic location requires few shots of Sunsets/Sunrises as well to demonstrate the beauty of this location. Hotel is located on a cliff, with breathtaking views. I believe shots like this will also help photogs like me, to chase sunsets and sunrises.

Thanks @jayasimha78 for taking part in this photo challenge! Those guidelines aren’t set rules but just for folks to bear in mind so you’re all good! :sunglasses: In any case, I think this is a lovely shot and the walk must have been very beautiful, more so after being stuck at home for the 3 months! And I think beautiful shots like this would definitely encourage others to visit! :+1:
