In my recent journey to Nagpur, I came across this ancient temple Riddhnath Mandir(Lord Shiva’s Temple) on the bank of Narmada River near village Handiya, district Harda(Madhyapradesh).
This temple caught my attention by it’s serenity and divineness. Just in curiosity I stopped at its parking and walk towards it.
To my surprise I found this inscription(photo attached here) at its entrance, which says as per belief the temple is made by one of Indian deity Kuber(God of Wealth). In my entire life I never came across such phenomenon, where a temple is made by one of an Indian mythological character. So this phenomenon made this temple very special in my eye.
The Temple is well maintained by the local priest. Other amenities for pilgrimages are available.
