Hello Everyone,
I’m Jeremy and I’m a Level 8 Google Guide in Maine.
I have a question about the Reviews that Guides and random people who aren’t Guides, but who still want to review a Business or Place on Google. My question is this;
- Is there a way for us to give a response to the person (Guide or Not) who has written and posted a review?
I am asking because about 30 minutes ago I read a review posted by a woman who specifically and explicitly requested help with the issue that she is complaining about. Her posted review REQUIRES A RESPONSE. How do I reply to her?
Also, in general, there are many reviews posted that are looking for an answer or help that the Google Guides should be allowed to respond to. Additionally, there are a lot of reviews that are so poorly written as to lose the point of the review completely and therefore it is necessary to ask the person who wrote the review for clarification on what they are trying to convey. I’m willing to bet that all of the other Google Guides have run into this situation too.
I also believe that there needs to be a feature added that allows a Google Guide to send a DIRECT MESSAGE to another Google Guide. We should be able to communicate with each other. Lord knows that I continually encounter reviews from other Google Guides that make me want to ask questions pertinent to that review because their answers would influence where I may go while exploring Maine with my child on one of our MINI or EPIC ADVENTURES.
Anyway, is there a way to respond to another reviewer’s comments and questions within their review?
Thank you. I appreciate any assistance that you can give me.
Respectfully,
~ Jeremy ~
