Hi,
I want to review the X-Ray and the Urology clinic of a hospital, not the hospital as a whole (it wouldn’t be fair).
So I added the clinic as a missing place and I got an email that my edit was accepted and published.
But I can’t find it on the map, and the link in the email just lead to the hospital.
Any idea how to proceed?
Looking forward reading your comments

I would write the review on the whole hospital’s Google Maps page, but make clear in the review text which department you are reviewing, @I-am-Q

Hi @I-am-Q
According to the Guidelines for representing your business on Google , “Departments within businesses, universities, hospitals, and government institutions may have their own Business Profiles on Google.”.
However, to be eligible, “a business must make in-person contact with customers during its stated hours.”
Preferably, the place should also have a different phone number.
Probably, due to the lack of information, or due to information identical to the ones of the hospital, the place added by you has been merged with the hospital.

Thanks a lot @ErmesT
Well this is a private hospital with many clinics (offering their service to other hospitals and clinics). So they do have contact with customers during their opening hours and they do have their own phone number.
I just feel that it is not fair to give just one star to the whole hospital just because I am not happy with the poor service I got at the Urology clinic.

Hi @I-am-Q
I had a similar situation and like to think of this as different retailers in a shopping mall. Including the shopping mall itself, each retailer has a different name, contact number(s) and usually provides different services although not necessarily (e.g. you could have two different shoe store businesses operating in the one shopping mall) etc. Another example would be where a group of different medical specialists operating in the one medical center but each specialist provides a different service (although not necessarily e.g. two gynaecologists), operate under their own names BUT share patient secretarial/admin services such as patient appointments etc which are provided by the medical center itself. So adding to what my friends have already mentioned, the main policy requirement is that the name of each entity (e.g. the shopping mall, each retailer in the shopping mall, the hospital/medical entre and each department or clinic or specialist within these must be different from each other and the main establishment itself (e.g. the shopping mall, the medical center or the hospital) and most likely have different telephone number(s) but not necessarily (e.g. the shared secretarial/admin services of the medical center).

Thanks for you feedback @AdamGT
Your examples was very convincing
As I mentioned the reason for raising my question is about the fairness of my review. At the same time I do inferstand that having policies and requirements will have some consequences.
Thanks again for your support and guidelines

Hi @TsekoV
Actually I have two problems
1-I don’t feel that it is fair to judge the whole hospital when you are affected only by one clinic in that hospital. Each clinic has its own business so to say , own customers (patients), own cashier, own leadership, own queuing system and own working hours.
2- Having what I said in the point above, I added the clinic as a missing place and I got an email that my edit was accepted and published. But I can’t find my new added place on the map, and the link in the email just lead to the hospital.
I think that @ErmesT is right in his reply that due to lack of information the place added by me has been merged with the hospital. If so, it would be great to have a note about it in the email that confirm the acceptance and publish of the new added place.
best regards
