Recently I have visited a coffee shop in Dhaka where they are offering discount for leaving a review on Google Maps. If anyone writes a review, then he/she can get discount after showing the review at the counter point. Although this is not new and seen this kind of promotional offer in different countries but it is new in Bangladesh, so i am surprised and would like to share with other local guides.

Hi, @AbdullahAM Thanks for sharing. Offering a discount in exchange for a Google Maps review goes against Google’s policies and is considered fake engagement, even if they don’t ask for a positive review.
