Very disappointing indeed. Again posted a review. Again not posted. Photos are showing upload pending. Meticulously typed each word. Review not visible publicly.
If this is how Google Reviews are marked spam for genuine reviews, reviewers shall lose interest in contributing. I feel demotivated.
Your review may not be showing publicly if you have included any of this: an email address, a URL or dollar or pound signs, or maybe another icon or symbol or special characters “&” “@” “( )” etc. Please check your review and remove it and let’s see if it publish; otherwise any or some of the words you used are Prohibited and restricted content.
Moreover, sometimes Google also flag genuine review as spam due to upgradation of Google Algorithm.

even () will affect content not accepted?
btw do you or anyone know or can confirm if now google map does not accept or acknowledge reporting spam anymore?
An Update. My photos are now uploaded. The shareable link is visible. Even the rating on the business is updated. But my review is not visible on the business page. Please note that my review didn’t contain any special characters.
Did you upload your photos separately or add with the review?
special characters always not a problem but sometimes, from my personal experiences with currency sign and url create problems.
