I noticed that some of my recent reviews were not showing up. When I go to my profile I can see the review like the others I’ve done. I had the same issue with another review. I edited the review by removing and then adding back the last period and saved it. It then showed up on when I was not logged in my account. The one that I shared above had no such luck. I then deleted the review and made a new one with no luck. Neither of them was flagged as private by Maps.

A hidden aka private review means, it was not accepted by the SPAM filter. Did you attach photos or videos to your review? If so, I’d suggest to delete them and see, whether the text-only version is accepted. If only a single photo or video is refused, the entire review will be hidden.
If text-only was not accepted either, I was successful in the past by removing half of the text repeatedly until it was accepted. Then adding sentence by sentence again and then word by word.

Only 86 of your 91 reviews are currently public.
A potential problem is you repeating the same first line across your reviews and making manual transmissions. Maps makes pretty good automatic translations.

Thanks for your replies. I noticed some time ago that some of my reviews were not showing up. I have also not checked the translation capabilities on Maps that’s why I always start the same way and include two language versions. I made some changes and removed the English part. The review is still not showing up. Not much I can do about it. Google is not useful here. My profile shows that the review is up. There is no indication that my review is hidden. When looking at them from a different profile I can see that me review doesn’t show up. They even prompt me to update the review. This is not the proper behavior when they prompt us constantly, and send encouraging emails, for reviews. It doesn’t feel like they value my (volunteer) work.
