Restore our Earth is the theme of the Earth DAY 2021.
I would like to begin with one of the Quote said our respected Guru, Father of the nation (India) Mahatma Gandhi - Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s need, but not every man’s greed.
Earth is our only home, there isn’t any replacement of this beautiful home nor planet B. Lets show more kindness at all times in and around, not to please anyone but to heal our EARTH.
There are many movement, organisation and different group of people come together for a good cause to restore our Earth. Personally I really appreciate and support everything they do. Yet as an individually even with or without a special event to support Earth, everywhere and at anytime it is our noble responsibilities to take care of it.
Most of us know that the world is facing many serious environmental issues, but how many of us know what needs to be done to take part in stopping these global issues.
At times as an individual we feel that we aren’t powerful enough to bring a visible change yet as an individual if every human on earth take responsibilities even in a small way all the time, I believe we can restore our EARTH.
I am a simple being but these are some of the things I like to do:
Plant more greens around me.
Maintaining a small kitchen garden.
Avoid asking for cutleries while ordering food for home delivery.
Avoid single use plastic’s
Carry my own tumbler.
Use my stainless steel straw and avoid using single use chopsticks.
Reuse, Recycle and Reduce at the best possible way.
Be kind to nature.
No job is too big and no action too small, the care of our earth is a job for us all. We all are in this together.
Please share what do you do as an individual to restore our earth so that we can learn from each other.

I liked your craftworks.
I recycle glass bottles as well as I gift a second chance to my garments by modifying them when I have used them for a long time or I also donate my clothes in communal wardrobes.

But thanks to this forum, starting to see the world with an eye as local guides and the perspective of thoughtlessness is changing. I love the things you like to do. Keep on inspiring girl.
I would support the conservation initiative as much as possible @sophie_fusion I would travel locally, use the local service in the means of supporting local people who have been guarding their forest while running local businesses. I have been doing it a lot!

I always believe that people inspires people and your post does that, I got inspired by the things you like to do, those are little things yet makes an huge impact.
This is really inspiring, Sophie. I never bothered to notice that I can avoid taking cutleries during home deliveries. Small step but pretty impactful. And, those DIYs are just amazing. These crafts using jute remind me of my school days when we used to do DIYs. As we grow up we forget the importance of even small things that actually have a bigger impact.
