Hi, 10 days ago, a restaurant bookmark disappeared from Google Maps for no reason.
The restaurant has been open for more than 25 years (24/7). I am attaching pictures and video taken yesterday. It works!
Is it possible to recover the marker “The Wooden - Дървеното”?
In 2023, the company “Online Consult TM” Id.No BG204569403 requested by phone 190lv (103$) for account maintenance. The restaurant paid, then they called many times and asked another 250lv (136$) for some additional “modules.”
In 2024, they started ringing again and asked for the subscription to Google Maps to be paid for the year 24. The restaurant again refused several times, and the company told them they would delete the restaurant’s account.
Apparently, this is the reason this happened.
I hope someone will help and the marker will be recovered.
It sounds like the restaurant is being blackmailed by some bad guys.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of bad actors around.
To be clear, it is possible for a restaurant to be on Google Maps for free. Maybe the bad actors claimed the pin on behalf of the restaurant.

In the last year, I received many such warnings that places for which I posted a review (some very old) were deleted from Google Maps.
