During my drive I found some rest stops incorrectly categorised as public bathroom, parking lot, etc. I tried to suggest an edit and fix the category to be Rest Stop but it comes up as no result. I can see the category Rest Stop exists. Any idea as to why I can’t see the option when searching and how can this be fixed?

This is strange. I can see and select the category just fine. Which App language have you selected? And which country are you in?

I’m in Australia and language was set to:
System Default(English, Australia)
I just changed the language in the app settings of Google maps to English, restarted the app. Then the option to select the category Rest Stop came up in the results.

Try update your app and then restart your phone.

App is upto date. Maybe there is a version issue as I am beta tester.
I have submitted a report via the app to google as changing the language then had the category come up in a search. Changing the language back caused the category to disappear again.
