Request for help

Hi!

I have been collaborating with Google Maps for more than 5 years, I am a local guide level 7, I have added to the maps of several locations more than 1600 photos, which have had more than 14 million views.

But, I am facing lately problems with the approval of new sites on the Havana map.

I have a last example, when last June 29th I proposed to add a new site. I even received the confirmation email (screenshot attached). As of today, July 17, my proposal has still not been added to the Havana map.

If there is any problem with the contributions made from Cuba, please let me know, so that I don’t keep trying.

Hi @enriquebris

Have you tried to do a text search to see if the new place shows up?

Not all places show up on the map as pins because it would be too messy.

Cheers

Hi, @enriquebris

The email that you are showing to us is the thanks email that you receive from Google Maps when you submit a place.

This is only the first step of a submission.

Then a place need to be verified, for Google to apply you edit or to reject (not apply) it.

You can check the status on your edit by checking the edit section of Your Profile in Google Maps.

To understand more about the verification process, please read: Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”?
