We have good Chemistry in working with each other, but here we have missed out something. Recently Gujarat Government has constructed World’s Biggest Statue – “Statue Of Unity.” It is near Kavadia but not in Valsad. Before few months ago we the team of Google Guide Gujarat had reported it as spam but till today this place is on Valsad Google Map.
We did had an event on Spam Free Maps and our team reported so many photos as spam but still there are many more.
My humble request to Google Team that please remove the photos of Statue Of Unity from Valsad and if possible remove all reported photos by Google Local Guide. If you can remove spam photos and locations from maps then the value of real photos will be increased by views and we will be in a good book at the community.
Hey! @Tejal I check the issue on maps you are right. But in satellite view I saw there something like a park on road junction. Are you see the place there are no statue of sardar Patel. If a statue situated on that place then the only the photo is SPAM not the location because the place name is "sardar patel statue " . Or there are no statue of sardar Patel statue then the location and photo is spam and need to remove.
And I also do the same I report the photos of that place. Because these photos are statue of unity photos.
And if you know place and you feel the location is spam then =
Click on the location
Go to suggest and edit option
Click Remove the place option
Then give a reason and photo
Then submit
Because I also reported something like that and they were successfully removed, hopefully your reported place will be removed or permanently closed.
Yes it is still shows pending. Other local guide also reported for the same . there is no one statue . a small circle of wall , car parking and few vendors are selling vegetables.

I’m totally agree with you @Tejal and @rajuroyal we are reporting many fake Local Guides accounts and spam photos on maps. Now many accounts suspended by maps team but photos not removed.
My request to map team please remove all contributions added by spam LG.
