Our 1999 overland journey from Singapore to the Khyber Pass took us through Laos.
A commenter tells me this is an old Soviet truck (the Zil-130), however, the side window shape is slightly different - this truck has a sloping windscreen.
Our trip was just before the big China-Laos road infrastructure projects of the 2000s.
I wonder what Laos looks like now?

I’m more curious on how did soviet truck Zil-130 appear so far way from Russia.

@The_Stable_Bubble , @Laniakey thanks for sharing your memory, Lao is changed o lot since 1990. In American war, Soviet Union gave to Vietnam trucks, tanks, … so some of them like UAZ, ZIN went to Laos. I’m from Vietnam.
