Is there any problem if I verify any businesses with the same ID using now for my local guide… I mean I am a local guide… and I have my uncle’s business… I have sent post verification request by managing that business to my same ID I am using for my local guide… Is that create any problem ? Like ban from local guide or account suspension of local guide etc???
The best thing to do is that the owner of the business verify the business by himself, maybe with your help… Verify one or several locations
Of course a business can be a Local Guide, if he’s here as an individual, but remember that, according to the Local Guides Program Terms and ConditionsOrganizations, brands, and businesses are not eligible for the Program.
This means that you cannot promote or represent the Business as a Local Guide
Hi @PrashantPr to add on what @ErmesT has mentioned, the business owner is the one who is suppose to manage the business using the same business account used to claim the business on Google Maps or Google My Business. Using your local guide account to claim or manage a business that will seem like you are now representing the business, you are no longer an individual, which is against the rules.
In my opinion, you can claim a business only when you are a rightful owner, or hold some kind of partnership deed or power of attorney.
However, once done, you need existing the LG program against the ID through which you claimed the business.
Nevertheless, you can always create another personal ID, join the program and start afresh. However, you need keeping your business interests away at an arm’s length.
Regarding the inquiry, you may follow as @Raphael-Mahumane , @ErmesT (for which the reply would be accepted as Solution), as additionally to check via Google My Business community and help center.
