Reflecting Your True Self - Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden, South Africa

Hi Friends,

Reflecting to see what’s inside of the universe is generally shown in the sci-fi movies where they try to find the new dimensions available and how to travel far and wide to the same.

Sometimes you do visit someplace where you definitely need to see for the signs that all points towards reflecting inside of us and identify what is our true potential.

I am working on looking inside of me and always keep on checking my behavior at the end of the day to reflect on all the decisions, gossips and actions I took and what I could have done and handled better.

We might say that we are busy and one day when we will be free we will check what’s happening inside of us. But the main part is that as we go ahead in our lives our reflections are part of ourselves and that’s why you see a lot of journals and books on journalling are coming to make you aware of these daily reflections. As we move further, do reflect and comment on what journaling method you are getting the best output from. Don’t forget to realize your potential my Local Guides friends.

All photos are taken using Nikon D7000 at Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden, Roodepoort, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Cheers!!!

Aashish Rai

Hi @TheLifesWay ,

Thanks for those amazing photos!

I totally agree with you that reflection is very important in nature and in us as well. I think that you’ve presented your theory about this reflection in a very interesting way with your photos and told us a story through your photography.

Is photography your hobby? Do you take photos often? I am also interested in and when I have free time I take shots of random things. If you have time, check out this post, you might be interested: 3 versteckte Orte in Bulgarien um wunderschöne Landschaftsfotos aufzunehmen.

wow! Those photos are amazing and the lessons you explained to the readers are really great @PoliMC But I don’t follow all these principles. If my eyes say it’s the right view and the camera is able to click it - I go it and capture it. I was initiated into photography at a very young age (Year 1985) by my uncle using his Pentax camera (film-based) and later got my own DSLR camera only in 2013 and then kept on it till today buying various cameras. In between, I was using my dad’s Yashica (film) and Panasonic FZ5 which I got from Singapore around 2007. I have thousands of photos I took using the first mobile camera and many more after the same. During this lockdown period, I came to realize my strength is storytelling combined with pictures I have clicked. So I am experimenting the same on Local Guides platform to hone it further. Let’s hope it will be beneficial to the platform and Google Maps.

Yeah! I take a lot of pictures wherever I go and enjoy them and watch them later and always remember them too.

Cheers!!! Aashish
