Hello Beautiful Local Guides,
During my exploration of another Historical Monument that plays an important role in Indian heritage I went to Red Fort. I came to understand how this magnificent fortress was built by Shahjahan around the city that was once called Shahjahanabad, the construction of which was completed in 1648. Since then it has been at the centre of many historical landmarks in the annals of history.
While there are many significant structures inside the Red Fort, I would like to share a new addition to this site, which is also known as the Red Fort Experience Centre. The museum was initially a British Barrack which was restored as a part of heritage of Red Fort by Dalmia Bharat group in 2022 in the build-up area of 138600 Sq. ft. After the First war of independence in 1857 the Britishers destroyed many Mughal structures inside the Red Fort ad used these ruins to construct the Barracks all around the fort which are now part of various other museums.
