Best regards.

During my childhood or boyhood, my hero was MacGyver I enjoyed this TV series a lot and always dreamed to be like him. Even now I remember what I did to watch this TV series in my remote village. We did not have electricity in our village at that time. We had 3 or 4 TVs in our village and run by a DC (12 Volts) battery. We waited full week only for Wednesday when this series broadcasted. It was our main concern to make ensure the TV battery is fully charged on that day. Thanks for sharing this nice and nostalgic post. Regards.
@OlgaKlimchik Thanks for tagging me to this nice post.
@OlgaKlimchik Thank you for tagging me to this nice post.
@EugeGallardo Thank you for sharing your childhood memories. My favorite character? I guess it would be Doraemon. I want to have the “Magic Door” from him. The Magic Door can take us anywhere, just think where you want to go and open the door. Have you seen Doraemon?
@Ant_Bad_Yogi I didn’t see the cartoon about Doraemon, but the idea to have the Magic Door is wonderful!
Hello @EugeGallardo and happy child’s day.
In Bulgaria, Children’s Day is celebrated on June 1.
I want to thank you for taking me back in time with your post, and when I was a child I now remembered many of my favorite characters such as: Benji, Zax & the Alien Prince, ALF (Tv series), Ninja Turtles and many more.
Unfortunately, I haven’t heard of your favorite character from your childhood, but now I know about it
Hi @OlgaKlimchik ! Thank you for marking me.
Your childhood hero is also my hero I remember when I was little in the 80’s I read a lot of Russian fairy tales in which there was a hero like: Коще́й Бессме́ртный, Ба́ба-Яга́ Васили́са Прекра́сная and others. My favorite children’s book with these characters is “Down the Magic River” by Eduard Uspensky.
Other Russian heroes are from the animated children’s film “Ну, погоди!” as a child I had a lot of fun watching them there is also a “Чебурашки и Крокодила Гены” by the writer Eduard Uspensky
Best regards!
@OlgaKlimchik , sorry for the late reply. I was lost because I had too many heroes when I was a kid.
So I chose because I remember playing with toys. I liked the animation Himitsu−no−Akko−chan.Translate, Secret Akko-chan.
The compact mirror obtained by the main character, Akko−chan, was magical. Casting a spell turns her into what she thinks she is. Little I was shy, so I cast a spell at a toy compact mirror when no one was at home. “Tekuma kumayakon, Tekumakumayakon, make me look like a princess” Unfortunately, my figure did not change. It wasn’t a real magic compact mirror.
In this way, the animation in which a girl transforms using magical possessions and solves problems has become a sensation. An animation of a magical girl who transforms due to the popularity of this work is made every year. Among them, “Sailor Moon” is famous, so you may know it.
Another work is Super Three. An American animation whose original title is The Impossibles. I especially liked the character called Might. The language version is named Multiman. When I see a character with long bangs and hiding both eyes because he was there, I keep an eye on that character.
Children’s Day in Japan is May 5. It is a holiday and it is about 5 days including the holidays before and after. Originally it is called 端午の節句 (Tango−no−sekku)=Tango Festival.
Tango is not a musical tango. Tango refers to the day of the first 午(go) of the month.
About 1300 years ago in Japan, events were held at the turning points of the season to avoid illness and disaster.
After that, at the Samurai family, he began to celebrate the growth of boys at Tango−no−sekku.
It is said that the reason why it is now May 5 is that the pronunciations of tango (go) and 5 (go) are similar. However, it is not accurate because of various opinions.
Zoro watched a film by Antonio Banderas. Zoro is cool.
Hi @karinchavoll . I didn’t know that Miss Comet was televised in Mexico. Your episode of hitting things in the house is very interesting.
Miss Comet you introduced was played by KOKONOE Yumiko. I know only part of it. I saw the comet OBA Kumiko played after that. OBA Kumiko was very cute and loved.
Also, thirty years later, this time an animation was made.Cosmic Baton Girl Comet−san.
In this work, the voice of comet’s mother was voiced by KOKONOE Yumiko , and OBA Kumiko of the second voiced her aunt. I can feel the respect for the live-action version.
As such, Miss Comet has long been popular in Japan.
Hi @OlgaKlimchik . “El Chavo del 8” is a Mexican character that became famous in all Latin America, including Brazil where we speak Portuguese and he became known as “Chaves”.
Here is a link for a video with English subtitles.
@Izumi indeed it was a wonderful TV program, that began in black and white and then changed with the TV in color screen, I love it, because the family was so polite and the Kids so nice Takeshi and Koji and their governess Señorita Cometa that make of each problem the opportunity to make the correct choise between doing it right or in case of cheating got a cheek cross mark as her punishment and her best friend Chibigon a nice red little baby dragon as her conscience. The cartoon version I’m afraid I missed it, but thanks for sending the link and I will see it anytime, greetings from
@mockata2 You have really surprised me. Your links are even in Russian, all the favourite ! I knew that Bulgaria was very close to USSR, but such facts can impress. Did you see the cartoons in Bulgarian?
I think no our child till now can be indifferent to the Wolf and Hare in “Ну, погоди!” (English name of cartoon series is “Well, just you wait!”) or Cheburashka and Crocodile Gena. These cartoons became a classical already.
Hola @Izumi ! No conocía ninguna versión de Chica Cometa. Pero me llama la atención que estuviera en ambos continentes, con diferentes versiones. Parece que fue todo un éxito!!
Gracias por comentar
