Fried sweet potatoes(ubi goreng) homemade
In Indonesia there are many snack sellers on the side of the road selling various snacks, such as fried tofu, tempe mendoan, bakwan and sweet potatoes(ubi). We used to call them’Gorengan’
I share this recipe because @Mutaz1 request .He know this snack when visiting Kalimantan.
Very simple actually this snack ingredients are not too many kinds of ingredients
Sweet potatoesWheat flour,sugar,salt,vannila,butter
The ingredients are :
~1 kg of sweet potatoes (can use various types of sweet potatoes, but the good ones are white and yellow, purple ones are less tasty when fried)
~250gram wheat flour
~sugar to taste
~salt to taste
~vanilla powder to taste
~butter 1 tablespoon
~oil to fry enough
~water to taste (to mix flour)
How to make :
~peel sweet potatoes and then soak the slices into a container filled with water, this is so that the sweet potato does not change color because the sweet potato sap
~mixed with flour, salt, sugar, butter, vanilla powder with water until you get a testure like the photo below

Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat already battered flour dough
Remember to use medium heat so that the sweet potatoes are cooked evenly after browning as shown below, remove and drain
Ubi goreng(fried sweet potatoes)
Fried sweet potatoes ready to serve
Served with tea or coffee in the afternoon or morning. It’s easy how to cook
