It was a beautiful Saturday morning in the city of Lagos. At Unilag road junction, awesome lagos local guides started to approach the meeting point for the Yaba Geo Walk at 10am. We had @Lelekena@Sayo@Sagir@Mojisola@pwanaduku@martins begin the geowalk. It was really exciting as the stop point was alagomeji bus stop which is quite a distance. I was really looking forward to completing the walk cuz it is a distance that I won’t have covered on my own. Mid way our geowalk, @Olumide1@HelloSamsonR@ahmed joined us. We eventually completed it. We were so excited about getting to the end but we were more excited about the new places we discovered and the side attractions in yaba. We eventually ended up at domino’s yaba to have pizza, chicken kickers, bread sticks and drinks. We also had a newbie @Mojisola join us and she was absolutely fun and also an amazing photographer.
Interesting meetup @Suenoyi . I had an amazing day and a lot of fun as well. It was good to connect with you all and also meet new local guides as well. Looking forward to the next. Thanks for sharing.

@Suenoyi without a doubt, the Yaba Geo Walk was an awesome meetup through and through. Discovered a few new places, properly mapped existing one, uploaded tons of pictures.
What really made it interesting for me was the fact that Yaba had always been a city I would usually drive through, either trying to get home from work, stopping over for a meeting or something, but walking down Herbert Macaulay Way gave me a completely different perspective to a city that I have always known virtually all of my life. It really seemed more interesting, as it offered tons of facts to be uncovered/corrected for Google Maps. Those foot bridges, along Herbert Macaulay Way, offered a completely different perspective to the roads we have always travelled on and the shots from those vantage points, amazing. And I think this geo walk has made me realise how much I would like black & white photography, so do enjoy some of them below.

@Sharp comments on the recap @Sayo . Wonderful wonderful. And the short video of the moving vehicles made me chuckle. Nice hanging out with you too @Sayo
