[RECAP] WW Maps Edit Walk 2 Surabaya

Saturday July 28, 2018 is the day where WW Map Edit Walk V-2 is held by Local Guides community around the world. This is the second annual event held simultaneously coordinated by @HelloSamsonR from Nigeria.

In Surabaya, Indonesia, I held a meet-up at Kuppel, a cafe with a unique concept in western Surabaya. At the same time and place, the bloggers in Surabaya are gathering. So this is the right time for me to introduce what Local Guides is to them. Some of them have contributed to Google Maps without realizing that the activity is an activity as a Local Guides.

They are happy to know that this year there are 6 Local Guides from Indonesia will go to San Francisco to attend Connect Live 2018. They are so motivated to continue contributing by provide reviews and upload photos to Google Maps. In addition to fun, it can get a nice surprise!

About the Maps Edit itself, there are not so many new places that we found around Kuppel. This region is indeed an elite area and there is rarely office or public place. There are only a campus, two hotels, a water park, a supermarket and the most important building is US Consulate General in Surabaya. After we check on Google Maps, most of the information is appropriate so we do not need much editing.

Very happy to participate in WW Map Edit Walk V2 this year, hopefully we can meet again in the same event next year!
