Recap: [Virtual] May 03, Experiences on Adding Roads-TRAC

A very interactive Meet-up
Sorry that I have delayed the recap until now. I have been quite busy. Anyway we had a very informative and interactive session on this meet-up. I like the free atmosphere and everyone contributing while we were learning. We were over 35 local guides in attendance on this meet-up.

Thank you @jayasimha78 for your great quiz. It is always good to start every meet-up on a friendly note. Although it is important to say @MarcoDavoli won which I didn’t want Lol :rofl:.

A screenshot of Jay’s quix session
After the quiz there was a presentation by the main local guides who were the guest speakers. The spot light was really on our female local guides who are also TRACians. It was a very interesting presentation
@FalguniP

Next on the ball was another lady who we all know very well on Connect and beyond.
@SoniaK

Next @ShreyaMusings

@Kumaarsantosh also share a slide of unwanted practices on adding road on Google maps which was very nice. We as TRACians place alot of emphasis on accuracy. If you’re in doubt leave out and move on. Don’t draw the road

@NareshDarji also tried to explain to us what RCC roads are and roads under construction. We really enjoyed the knowledge sharing on this meet-up.

Thank you @UchechukwuEnem for attending though quite briefly. @ShailendraOjha please kindly tag other who attended. Thank you. Special thanks to @PrasadVR and @Kumaarsantosh and the ladies of honour.
Thanks everyone

I missed part of it as well @AbdusSattar. My computer crashed so I had to quickly change devices and get back on. Overall, it was a job well done @SholaIB.

I could only join for a few minutes at the start as I was traveling and lost connection afterward.
Would love to catch up with the recap later

This was well thought of and an ideated meet-up @SholaIB. One of the best meet-ups I have ever attended virtually.

The part I liked the most was the

light discussion yet full of information sharing and learning.

This makes the day enjoyable for everyone who participated in this meet-up.

The experience sharing from all TRACians was fabulous. Thanks @FalguniP, @SoniaK and @ShreyaMusings.

The learning, challenges and experience sharing slides of @SaylliWalve1, @Ptrivedi, @KeshavMahajan, @Gvipin, @PrasadVR, @ShailendraOjha and @Ssiddharth2000 were very important and useful for the participants to go through. Thank you!

An ice breaker game is always a fun filled activity in your meet-up. Thank you @jayasimha78 for bringing up such brain teasers everytime for TRACians.

@MarcoDavoli your 5 slides were so quick, informative and innovative.

We are thankful to @NareshDarji for his time and sharing his deep thoughts about special roads.

Overall, it was an engaging meet-up.

Thank you all!

This was such a great meet-up. @FalguniP did such a great job of presenting and running the show :+1:

@PrasadVR & @Kumaarsantosh gave invaluable information. I was happy my screenshot of the spaghetti roads made it into their presentation!

Thank you, @SholaIB, for organizing this one. Awesome job!
