Recap: [Virtual] India, May 31, Get started with Connect : A session to help new LGs use the platform effectively

An amazing session with New and Seasoned LGs

We started the Session with quick round of Introductions where LGs shared where they are from, their local guide level and what inspires them to contribute on Google Maps

Overview of Connect Platform - after introduction my amazing friend @Ssiddharth2000 took everyone through the Local Guides connect Platform and the guidelines, post category and other important features.

How to write effective posts on Connect Once the overview was completed, my brilliant friend @Rahul001 shared the tips and tricks about how to write effective posts on Connect and how to participate on Challenges shared on Connect

How to Create/Participate in Meet-ups ( Virtual/In-person/Hybrid) - and then our favourite LG @ShreyaMusings Shared how to Create Meetups on Connect, different modes of Meetups, things you should take care of while creating a Meetup

and in the end our experienced LGs @Kumaarsantosh @TravellerG @K.K.Sharma answered the queries of the participants

Thank you again for joining and making it a successful meet-up

Very nice recap @Manishhh . Thanks for this meetup and recap. I was very keen to attend this meetup. According to me meetups are sources of acquiring knowledge.

For the past few days my internet was completely down and even the mobile network was very poor. I was unable to attend. Hopefully this meetup will help the new Local Guides a lot.

I also the missed the detailed explanations of @Ssiddharth2000 , @Rahul001 @ShreyaMusings. I usually attend meetups to learn updates. You people younger generations explore more and are more knowledgeable.

Fantastic meetup, dear @Manishhh
I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart, for this initiative, especially because I too wanted to engage local guides with a view to improve their contribution quality.

Doing good and helping others is virtue.
Today you have shown how to create it. :handshake::people_hugging:

I joined the meetup from Mubai Metro briefly, along with @JitendraKumarprasa though not the entire duration.
