Recap: The 36 Walk: Boat Cruise Lagos

As part of the annual ‘36’ walk organised by @PaulPavlinovich #LagosLocalGuides are not left out.

We held our walk in a grand style… Using Boat Cruise to capture the beauty of Atlantic shores of Lagos.

We meet at Westwood Hotel Ikoyi by 10 am as planned and we spend 1 hour discussing and sharing tips on how to contribute to the map and how to capture memorable shots. it was a great experience.

At 1110 am we join the boat and the cruise started from the hotel Jetty and we proceed towards Lagos Lagoon ( Apapa Wharf by our left and Marina by our right) we move pass under the 3 bridges that links Lagos mainland and the Island ( Eko bridge, Cater bridge and third mainland bridge).

It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. We then proceeded towards the 5 cowries creek with Banana Island to our right and Lekki peninsular to our left.

we cruise pass under the famous Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge. and the scene is heavenly awesome.

We then cruise pass the famous 1004 estate, the Civic centre, the 5 cowries jetty and the Falomo bridge then back to the starting point.

After the cruise we then move to the Falomo roundabout garden and capture the beauty of the landscape and the murals around the area.
