- As per belief and holy epic Mahabharata, it was believed that the cave to be once resided by the Guru of Pandavas and Kauravas so that’s why this cave is known as Drona cave.

So let’s start the recap post of meet up:
We started our photo walk before 1 PM, the day was sunny but we explore everything with our phone and camera. Some local guides were new in meet up and they attend first time, so i take a quick introduction of local guides (it’s recorded in the recap video). As you can see in the above pictures, a temple which is made inside the cave and a gate also constucted which is named as Drona Gate, inside cave idols of various Gods and Goddess located at different sides of temple; nera the main entrance of temple stairs are constructed which goes in the downwards direction and the rest part of temple constructed there.
In the above collage you can see the idols of various Hindu Gods and Goddess, the grand idol of Lord Hanuman (with orange colour) is constructed at one side of a mountain and from other side stairs are constructed to walk through upwards in the temple, all other idols are present inside the cave.
During photo walk we capture lots of photographs along with idea sharing, Question/Answers session, discussion about the new features in Google Maps, new features which should be implemented in maps, fun facts of the attendees and discussion about Local Guides connect too.
Photo with Local Guides badge at different locations of the temple. As you can see in background view of a small waterfall located near the temple (the magnificent view of waterfall is recorded in the video) so don’t skip the recap video, hope you’ll like it.
During meet up timing we also communicate with some of our respected local guides from different states of India.** @AmbrishVarshney fromNew Delhi, @SalmaanN fromBengaluru, @Shrut19 **from Mumbai and everyone like the devotional vibes of Tapkeshwar Temple.
Tapkeshwar temple is a hub of children’s fun, as you can see in the above pictures: childrens are swimming and playing inside the river, so this place is perfect to enjoy the weekend with family and friends however it’s a good spot for school and college tour. Devotees from different locations of Uttarakhand came here everyday for worship and they also take bath in the divine water before entering in the temple, because it’s to be believed if you have some impurities on the body or on clothes then better to wash up so that you can feel positive from physically and mentally.
As you can see in the above pictures sages/saints sitting nearby temple premises. Some of them live inside the temple and some visited here daily for worship and spirtual speech.
