Congratulations @RtnArulPrakasamT with a successful event. I am both surprised and impressed by how little time you had to manage all this with your team. That is pretty amazing.

It was a pity that there was a sound issue with our live streaming connection, but it was fun to wave at everyone. These things happen and you just have to go with the flow.

I just started all this as a hobby to help people explore / get to know the places I visited… once I found that my contribution helps a lot of people, it turned into an addiction and wanted to contribute more and more.

When I was leveling up and out of blue found an amazing mail stating that there is an great event organized by Google for LG Chennai community. Without giving a second thought accepted the RSVP hosted by @RtnArulPrakasamT

I reached the venue by 8.30 for an event that starts by 10.00. I know I was too early but then, I was super excited to be part of it and can’t believe so much of hard work put by @TravellerG @RtnArulPrakasamT and team to give us tag, note pads , t-shirt and more.

The session started by 10.30 and it had its own tough time due to technical glitch but the experts have managed well to ensure the knowledge is well transfered to us …

More over I was so happy to see that my photos have got it’s place in [RECAP] write up by our great host.

Training session was good and Post our training session we had our great lunch followed by fun they said, I was quite sceptical about it as I ain’t really games person but then I realised I could be the capturer of happiness ?

Here is my happy moments capturing the child in them!

And of all this I was happy that a single day can turn me find a small sweet family like friendly people!! And now we are a gang of friendly LG’s thank to the meet up and here is my team @HENRY_PRAVIN @Nithya12 @Rubert6 @Lokeshlks_07 @Amtek

Overall it was an amazing experience and thank you once again to @TravellerG @RtnArulPrakasamT and team for making it happen to all Chennai LG’s.

The Googler’s choice of LG @RtnArulPrakasamT @our captain is the right choice, no, only one choice deserved to Host this mega event

What a programming,
What a planning,
What a performance-enhancing by him!!!.
The entire event, inch by inch and step by step was planned by him,
and one could surprised on seeing the re-cap of Rock & Learn that the host Arulprakasm has mentioned at many places the word I, and I, only I, is not by head and shoulders, but he is deserved to dare it.
Like a soldier we the committee LG’s performed the show as per his direction only.
At many occasions I have surprised to know that, every day he comes with different types of thought and unique idea’s.
If I miss to mention few of them, definitely it’s a great mistake,
+ Entry and exit of LG’s by QR scanning,
+Affixing logo sticker on the Google Tamil Nadu Map,
+ For refreshing by LG’s, a temporary shelter with welcome drinks,
+ Designing of I’d, tag, label, posters, backdrop ete.,
+ Post Card for each LG’s with postal stamps affixed, and cursive letter writing
+ Creation of waiting list appart from RSVP,
+ Learning session topics, PPT slide and video…,

LGs are keen watching the lecture at the venue hall.

perform our duty like a " “arrow from the sword”.
Honestly I have to mention the other LG, our Mentor @TravellerG @involvement, contribution is un- untieable and one can’t forget
Yes, inspite of his ear surgery, before and after the date of surgery from the day one, the following were done by him.
+ Uniting the junior LG’s to participate in the meet-up,
+ Motivating the LG’s bu ‘n’ number of slides,
+ A team of LG’s exclusively for Photography
like @BunnyAyush @ Nikunj Pate and @Jose_G_Benjamin @ (yet to share it in the album)
+ Concept of “Certificate of Participation” for LG’s.
+ For honouring the world wide cyclist LG @Ajith @(8 country, 8000+km), all travel arrangements including air fare
+ Preparing many slides and videos on photography speach, and for the event,

Yes, the Meet-up session was started after a group photo at around 10.30 am ( IST) and the speaker’s ( including me) were delivered their speach with PPT slide and video.
Also video conferencing with dignified LG’s, live streaming on Twitter linked for some time.
The Soft copy of the speaker’s are given to LG’s on request.
At the end of the learning session all the LG’s are tastes the vegitarian and non vegetarian food including “Briyani” and few of them have tasted it once again.

After Learning session the LG’s are taking food.( Veg. and Non. Veg.)

After lunch there was fun-filled games, water rides of around 40 no’s for relaxing the weekend.

LGs are relaxing after Launch, Playing fun filled water rides and Games.

We have enjoyed a lot there, also interaction, idea exchanging of Google map, connect post are took place there among LG’s.
All the LG’s are much thankful to the Google for giving this golden opportunity to meet all Chennai LG’s of 100+, in one umbrella at a time.

Hey it’s was like a dream, past few years I’m applying for Connect live But I never got selected for that event. Through this Meet up my wish meeting fellow LG full filled.

During this meet got to learn About new features of google map, it was really useful for LG, another factor of this meet is everyone got new LG friends overall entire day of LG meet up was so effective,hoping for more meet in future

It was a rocking meetup experience for me!

I thank @RtnArulPrakasamT for giving me an opportunity to be a part of the Host community taking the responsibility of Attendant.

The response from Online, Offline, Waiting list was overwhelming where new LG’s are eager to take part in this kind of supported meetups in future days to improve the local community. Where the key takeaways would be knowledge of information and networking with fellow local guides.

I learned a lot in scaling my skills to people Management, Event Planning, etc.

This finally connected many Level 10 LG’s and older LG’s to rejoin the community and resume their engagements.

In short, I would like to conclude it as " Local Chennai Connect Live Event "

It was really a whole day wonderful event for making new friends, learning various aspects of map editing, addition etc. Learnt many things and also enjoyed the theme park recreation with the friends, which has made the happiness many times as compared to enjoying alone. Overall best organised and managed meet with highly enjoying and successful completion.
