Arrival and Introductions:
On a pleasant May evening, I set out from Kalyan on my bike, arriving at Grand Central Park, Thane, at 4 PM for an exciting meetup organized by Mayuri Kubal, with Shruti as the co-host. This gathering aimed to combine a photowalk, meet and greet, and an accessibility check of the park.
Meeting the Members
Upon arrival, I met the other enthusiastic members:

This was my first meeting with Nikhil and Ashmiza, adding to the excitement of connecting with new people.
Exploring the Park:
Our exploration of Grand Central Park began with a photowalk, capturing the scenic beauty and diverse attractions within the park. We visited several themed gardens, including:
Fitness Station
Adventure Play Area in Playzone
Beautiful Lake in the Theme Garden
Mughal Garden Chinese Garden
Japanese Garden Moroccan Garden
The park’s diverse landscaping provided a perfect backdrop for photography and enjoying nature’s tranquility.
Socializing and Sharing:
After our park tour, we headed to a nearby hotel for refreshments and further socialization. Here, we exchanged gifts and shared stories. Tushar sir handed out souvenir cards, which we signed and exchanged, creating lasting memories of our meetup.
Conclusion:
Our meetup concluded around 8:30 PM. The event was informative, entertaining, and provided an excellent opportunity to bond with fellow Local Guides. We left with new friendships, shared knowledge, and a deeper appreciation for the beauty and accessibility of Grand Central Park.
