When places have photos on Google Maps of what they look like from the outside it helps those who are going there for the first time to locate them easily.
Here’s the storefront photo of the PNG Jewelry showroom in Aundh, Pune that shows:
- An accessible entrance,
- Various offers including a gold subscription scheme,
- QR codes to scan without entering the showroom,
- Ambiance and seating inside the showroom,
- Parking space,
- Part of a tactile path for the visually impaired, and
- Glass showcase with sample jewelry on display.
- all in a single frame.
During this meetup on 19-February-2022, I tried to capture as many storefront photos of businesses in the Aundh-Pashan-Baner areas of Pune.

Here’s the storefront photo of Starbucks in Aundh, Pune that shows:

The storefront photo of Roopsangam collection cloth sore in Pune shows:
- No ramp nor any railings for the staircase,

- No accessible entrance through the main door,
- Placard about products on sale.
- Various manikins displaying the sample cloth available.
The storefront photo of Pharmacy of the Medipoint Hospital in the Aundh area of Pune shows:
- The store is not accessible,
- Has parking space for 2-wheelers,
- The store has a takeaway counter.
- A dustbin trash can.
- Various products on display in the glass window etc.
I tried to capture photos that clearly showed the entrance, the name and details of the shop, and the width of the pavement around it among other details.
Conclusion
I am sure such storefront photos will help Googe Maps users a lot when locating the shop easily especially when they are located amidst a crowd of other shops on Nagras Road which has evolved from a humble walkway to an extra-wide and superrich shopping street over the decades.
