This is that one meet up I host frequently to create awareness among people on the importance of greening the world through Google maps.
Through this series of meet up I have achieved many followers in the real world and my various dreams of greening the world have become true at several moments.
This time, I first took 50 trees to be planted in Batticaloa, then I had to reduce it to 20 since the weather and soil conditions were a bit dry in Batticaloa area and I slightly felt an uncertainty on their survival. I didn’t want my little friends to die by giving them a new place to live. As always, Department of forest supported us. @user_not_found is someone who always joins me when it comes to tree planting. He was there at 7 am at the destination even before me. We started our journey towards the planting destination around 7.30 am after collecting the planting materials from the Department of forest on a motorbike.
There we planted all the twenty trees at the selected destination, Also we took photos of previously planted trees which were in the near proximity and came home with much pleasure in doing our best to make the world greener and a better place to visit.
