With more than 40 local guides we organized our 1st friendship meetup with Bangladesh LG’s. I want to thanks everyone for participating the Virtual Meet & special thanks to @MahabubMunna for co-hosting the meetup.
The meetup started with the introduction section of all the LG’s and the condition around us due to Covid19. We also welcomed @IlankovanT @AlphaSays @Anil6969 @PritishB @FalguniP @deepakjhic @VishnuBhaiShihora who joined our meetup from Sri Lanka, The Gambia, India

With the Q&A section and knowledge sharing, @Falguni shared that she has started to attend the meetup and have already joined many virtual meetup hosted by fellow LG’s around the world.
@Mahabub shared some insight on the contribution. The best way to contribute on Google Maps is to have detailed review of the known places with accessibility related info as well. Adding around 5 photos and videos depending upon the size of the business is the ideal way of adding some visual thing related to the listing. It’s also a good idea to contribute on Local Guide Connect Forum, as it will help in connecting with other LG’s as well.
@Alpha shared one of the challenge for LG’s as not being the local, which has played some part in his contribution on Google Maps.
@Ilankovan shared his passion regarding rural places visit and conducting training by relating it with the LG program. Capturing the Street View is one of the favourite activity during his visit in rural area.
Some question related to Street View and transit by @VishnuBhaiShihora & @SolaimanHossain , were answered by @MahabubMunna & @anazizullah .
With the meetup for around 2 Hrs. we ended up our friendly virtual meetup with final goodbye with the new and old friends from Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India & The Gambia. Hope to see you soon on future meetups.
