[Recap] Nagarjuna Sagar Dam Photo Walk

Hello everyone! this photo walk is conducted to capture the famous man-made infrastructure namely Nagarjuna Sagar Dam; this dam is one of the world’s largest and deepest masonry dams which is around 150 km from Hyderabad city. On the day of the meetup, we started at 6’O Clock from Hyderabad in a vehicle. The weather in the morning was cool but when we reach Nagarjuna Sagar Dam at 09:00 AM it became hot. On the way, we had seen many sceneries and beautiful places.

We had puri as a breakfast at Haritha Vijaya Vihar. It was yummy and the curry was so delicious.

After filling our stomachs we started to explore Nagarjuna Sagar Dam meanwhile we were capturing lots of photos of picnic stops. Finally, we landed on our destination.

Now the meetup starts there were around 6-7 other local guides who came from Kompally (which is nearby Hyderabad) who joined us at this point. Do you know they came on bikes? Woah! 150 km is a very long journey, Kudos. #patience.

Without wasting any time in this scorching sun, we headed towards a boat ride to Nagarjuna Hill. There is also a museum on this hill equipped with a canteen that offers delicious food and drinks. Boating ticket for adults was Rs. 150/- (around $2). We rushed to get on the boat and wore safety jackets because “Safety First”. There were around 300 people in this 2-floor ship. This ship is equipped with emergency tubes, toilets, AC and drinking water.

Finally, we reached Nagarjuna Hills which took 45 minutes from the coast.

Finally, our photo walk came to the end by exploring the Nagarjuna Hills followed by an exquisite dinner
