It was the day of 25 December, the last period of the year 2020, and the month of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. We few Local Guides joined to make the day welcoming for the disabled community and for updating Google Maps.
The event was started at 10 am from the Suvasto Shopping Mall. Local Guides @ShahMdSultan@Mohammadalauddin , and @Tanbirul joined from the start. We started our event by introducing and sharing our greetings. Local Guides was very interested after joining us. We are also happy to welcome the new. We discussed our Accessibility Meet-Up agenda. Then started our activity.
We visited Suvastu Nazar Valley Shopping Complex and talked to the responsible staff about their Accessibility status and what is our countryâs disability acts.
The area we choose was a busy public area where we found some accessible places but the maximum is not aware of Accessibility. Together we checked where accessibility exists or not. when found the facility we appreciated the authority and marked these places with our #MapAccessibility sign. Where we did not find the accessibility we tried to aware there about the accessibility rights in our country and what are the Google Maps accessibility features. Some Accessible places we found. As you all know all of these matters are the power of our accessibility Meet-Up usually.

This day of meetup has been a memorable one for me. So after a long time we all met again. Your hosted a meetup can reveal many unknown things. Successful organization on the occasion of Disability Day. I feel blessed to be present at this meetup.
