For Supporting Micro Businesses a large number of manpower is required. Therefore I started Local Guides Connect Joining Campaign on 18th of January when I had the privilege to launch the 10th Anniversary Local Guides Connect Joining Campaign at my college. The campaign turned out to be a great success, with 14 individuals joining the Local Guides Connect platform during the session.

Continuing this momentum, today I had the opportunity to engage with the scholars of Ma Bharti T.T. College, Kota, where I urged them to support micro-businesses by mapping them on Google Maps, writing reviews, and capturing photographs. These small actions go a long way in empowering local businesses and helping them gain visibility.

During the session, I explained the importance of the Local Guides program and introduced the Local Guides Connect platform, emphasizing its features and the impact it has globally. I showcased how this vibrant community contributes by adding reviews, photos, and updates to help make information accessible and accurate for everyone. Video of the event is available here.

To inspire them further, I logged into my Connect account and gave a live demonstration, showing how I use the platform to share stories, tips, and insights with the global community. The demonstration sparked great interest, and I am delighted to share that 10 of the scholars immediately joined Local Guides Connect. Their enthusiasm and eagerness to contribute were truly inspiring.

The session concluded with an engaging discussion where we explored innovative ways to support micro-businesses like preparing a brochure mentioning the facilities and schemes provided by Government to Micro Businesses and while visiting a Micro Business we will provide the brochure to them, highlight the unique charm of our local area, and contribute to the growth of the community through technology.

Now this seems like a turning point in the history of Local Guides Connect @K.K.Sharma Ji :+1:

Never before have we seen so many local guides joining ‘for a cause’ and that too because of the efforts of a single passionate person.

Sadly, most local guides have joined in the distant past, lured by the free annual function in the US called Connect LIVE.

Also, many more have joined in the past for rewards.
They are also seen asking for rewards on Connect.
And when they do not get any, they leave the program.

The newly joined local guides have joined it for a cause to support the local businesses from where they are consuming the product.They need some guidance. Soon I will organise a session as per your convenience so that you can also motivate and guide them.
