I am so glad to share with you that We were invited to a youtube live telecast to share our knowledge about how to contribute to Google maps and what is Local Guide program is.
Last Friday was my favorite Friday and so thrilling experience too. Let me explain to you…………my town Valsad is very small and full of greenery. Our mango is world-famous so many farms of mangoes are here. Now people in Valsad knows me as a Local guide and they like my way of explanation maybe because my profession is teaching so I was invited to the UB news channel to share my knowledge regarding

IT was lovely to experience. During this interview, I met Ms. Richa Varma and Ms. Rupal Nagda who are also running the youtube channel Janta ki baat janta ke sath with 1.36k subscribers. And she invites me for the live session with them Ms. Richa Varma and Ms. Rupal Nagda wanted to explain to viewers about This session is in the Hindi language

So I have also decided to take Naresh Darji along with me and we will divide the topic. for both of us, it was our first experience with live streaming. But it was thrilling too.

Nareshbhai started the session about how to contribute on google maps.
When we want to go somewhere and need to collect information about a location we are taking the help of google maps to get a better idea about the location and visit the places around us. but do you know who is putting the information on the maps? How it update and all……A local guide like us is putting the information on the maps we want to help our community and so we are doing this work.
Local Guide program is where anyone can contribute to google maps who like to help others to discover and explore their world and on behalf of this, we earn other benefits like early access to new Google products and perks. If contribution is very much like by google they you will be selected for the yearly event which is sponsor by Google.
I explain the point given below.
- Please do not post any irrelevant photo on the maps as it does not give any information about the location
- No personal photos are to be posted on the maps.
- Click the photo of places visited by you like restaurants, public places, etc. You can also post photos of food with the name of dish.
- Write the detail or short review about the location you visit it helps to others for their visit.
- It is just like give and take if we are helping others then others will help us.
- We can also add information about small businesses around us and help them to grow.
- Report the spam photos.
- Do not add a personal location like your home on the maps.
I explain that connect is a platform for a local guide where we can share our experience with a local guide around the world it is just like a local guide family. We learn so many updates from connect and also help the community.
I also explain how we are working during a natural disaster we are updating information regarding this road is close or the bridge is broken etc.
Ms. Nagda could join for a few min throughout the session as she was traveling and she gave promise that she will write a review and click the photos to upload on the maps.
Ms. Rupal Nagda And Ms. Richa Verma were so amazed by our session and invited us for a detailed session on how to contribute to google maps and connect so I and @NareshDarji decided to join them next time with the presentation and detailed explanation.
