It was just exciting. Today we brought over 70 Local Guides from all around the world to visit Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia virtually, via Street View, Google Maps and Google Hangout meet. It was my first experience hosting a virtual tour, taking close friends on an over 200km roadtrip from their comfort of their own homes, amidst our global pandemic.

We started the first 30 minutes of getting to know each other, which was really fun. Because so many faces that I have not seen for quite some time. It was really amazing seeing everyone again. Everyone was full of smiles, which made the virtual meetup even more amazing.
Then we started our planned virtual tour by presenting my host screen, and using Google Maps and Street View to walk everyone through over 18 main attractions in Kuala Lumpur, as we virtually drove, walked and explored these places together.
