[RECAP] Inspirational Virtual Meetup - 2 by SalmaaN - TravellerG

Hello fellow LGs,

#TeamIndia Members thank you all.
Having heard a detailed story of what happened behind the scenes from @Ewaade_3A (Link), we are left with very little to share with you, here.

This [RECAP] is collaboratively written by @Gurukrishnapriya @Jose_G_Benjamin @Ewaade_3A @Shrut19 & @Anil6969 (Text, Photos & Proofreading).

Firstly, we thank all the attendees for their valuable involvement & presence - honestly, you all made the event successful. Dear reader, we value your time and thank you for visiting this RECAP & commenting.

As you are aware, this Inspirational Virtual Meetup-2 (IVM-2) is the second of the 12 Monthly Meetups (from April 2020 to 2021) planned. Along with monthly meetups, we also have weekly meetups which are aimed at grooming global LGs in Google Maps & LG Connect, keeping Connect Live '21in mind. The IVM-1 was addressed by @ArchitOjha & IVM-2 by Salman Nawaz - both were very successful events and both of them presented in their own unique style.

In this meet, our chief guest Salmaan Nawaz was fully charged and made a super hit presentation. Thanks, dear @SalmaanN for your dedicated efforts. The way Salmaan described his travel and Connect Live experience ‘from India back to India’ was very unique.

The Master plan was prepared by me, after analysing the IVM-1, in consultation with our Core Team (16 Members). Then, as explained by @Ewaade in her post, the planned activities were executed meticulously. The coordinations by different Core Team members were really successful - I was happy by the time we reached the final rehearsal (real mockup - Virtual Meetup with all the Core Team) which was conducted at 14:30 Hrs IST on 24th.

The Meetup went live by 18:00Hrs IST and LGs started joining. 18:30 to 18:50, the individual introduction of **Local Guides (LGs)**continued, coordinated first by @bhavanakuntal and then by Jose Benjamin.

Then, our lead Admin, @jaisoncbe invited me & I made a brief introduction of #TeamIndia Grooming Mission and invited Gurukrishnapriya to make some brief announcements - she briefed about:

  1. the #TeamIndia initiative to groom global LGs and
  2. introduced the June & July Guest Speakers, @Riya & @Aslam, who were also present in the meetup.

Then co-host Ewaade was invited to introduce our Chief Guest Salmaanand she did a wonderful job. Following her invitation, @SalmaanN took over the stage and started the presentation with@Karan_iclickthese managing the slideshow.

In a single sentence, Salmaan’s speech was very amazing - ROCKET_STAR - we felt that he finished his one-hour session, in a single breath. it was just mind-blowing. His presentation contained 91 Photos which explained his journey, right from the beginning of his journey from his home town, his flight to the US, his stay there (both in the hostel and hotel), the gifts he presented to others, and gifts he received from Google, etc.

All the attendees could feel his excitement from the style in which he spoke. His innocence and truthfulness were visible in every word. From his body language, everybody could feel how much he enjoyed his trip. It was very clear that his best companion was our @StephenAbraham , who was also present in the meet. A large number of questions form different LGs pushed Salman to continue for another half an hour.

(LGs who are always with #TeamIndia)

This meetup went successful, only because of the “teamwork”. All my planning and initiatives could have gone a waste without unparalleled supports & efforts from our @Jaison @Satyaraj’s @jose @Anil & @Ewaade. Ewaade grabbed the attention of everyone as a co-host, with her meticulous and deep involvement; she looked pretty in her cute costume.

@Anil6969 was kind enough to offer training to everyone. @JoseGbenjamin and @Bhavana Kuntal have contributed their best as MCs. @Govindjha and @Shreeya_99 attended the CHAT carefully & responded well. @Gurukrishnapriya handled the announcements professionally. Although @FalguniP was present during grooming, unfortunately, she could not attend the meet. We thank our other two Core Team Members @Jasour and @CoolKris too

I respect and salute each one of you and thank you all from my heart. We Core Team, on behalf of #TeamIndia, sincerely invite all those LGs who attended and those who missed this meetup to attend the 3rd Inspirational Meetup in June, on 21st 6:30 PM. Kindly mark in your calendar, please.

I agree I was wrong, dear Ewaade - TG:
While inviting you, honestly I had a slight concern due to many factors, including time shift, language accent, cultural difference, etc. - however, from the very first day, you turned out to be a wonderful co-host, a great performer and an excellent friend and above all, a very jovial person. Most of your steps had a professional touch. The care and attention you gave while grooming was very touching - I appreciate and congratulate you, dear Ewaade - God bless you.

TG also especially thanks all the members who supported to prepare this RECAP.

As per our practice, the co-host of a previous meetup will be the main host of the next meetup; continuing this practise, we invite Ewaade to be the next Host, in June 2020.

With warm regards,

TravellerG representing #TeamIndia Core Team Members.

PS:

Request Moderators not to consider the tagging as spam; we have tagged only those who have participated (80 LGs, approx) in the meetup.
