I recently had the pleasure of hosting a meetup in Vadodara, Gujarat, focused on the theme “How to Edit Maps Effectively.”
The meetup was not only insightful but also a fantastic opportunity to build connections with like-minded individuals passionate about improving our local map data.

Effective map-editing techniques, including:
- Updating business information for accuracy.
- Adding missing places and correcting existing details.
- Highlighting the importance of proper categorization and relevant photos to enrich Google Maps.

Meeting new people is always a joy! One notable connection I made was with the owner of “Brand Bazar Marketing Platform”. It was inspiring to exchange ideas and learn about their unique insights into local marketing and community development. Thanks @brandbuzzar -

After the session, we enjoyed a cup of tea together, accompanied by discussions on health, well-being, and brainstorming innovative ideas for contributing to the Local Guides program. The casual yet stimulating atmosphere made it a truly memorable experience.
