Actual Meetup timing - 10:00 to 11.30, but it ended at 13.35 (More than 3 hours).
Local Guides are very passionate, if they are. Let me mention a few of them here from the National Capital, New Delhi and NCR.
@AmbrishVarshney @Ankit.Kumar @alwaysbhukaa @K.K.Sharma @AdarshUmangRaj
Virtual attendees - @NareshDarji @Cheena @GovindJha #Ravi Sharma & @TravellerG
(Usernames mentioned as per their arrival/joining time)
In the current excessive heat situation, I thought Local Guides won’t be available to join, but as usual the first Local Guide who arrived before the time was @AmbrishVarshney. He brought so many positive vibes to the meetup and sharing insights on how we should move forward from the meeting point.
We started from Lal Quila Metro station, edited many local listings and took many photos. We had lots of discussion on how to edit maps for different listings and roads. While waiting for other local guides #K.K.Sharma shared some insights about the Red fort and Chandni Chowk area.
Shared some old Program stickers that I got printed back in March, 2017(One of them)
The best thing about Local guides is, they always bring energy and different story of their contribution to share. After discussing so many things about latest updates on the maps, we had a short intro session to get to know each other.
The recommendation from #K.k.Sharma, to get lemon juice worked perfectly to boost the energy during meetup. And finally we ended our meetup at the starting point near Lal Quila Metro Station.
It’s always good to meet like-minded local guides in the area, share some knowledge and learn something new from them. At the end it was not easy to say bye and that’s why it took extra 2 hours…
