Recap: [In-Person] India, January 24, A visit to Kerala Literature Festival

This is the banner of my meet-up

Sorry for being this late in uploading the recap for the meetup held on 24th of January at KERALA LITERATURE FESTIVAL held at Kozhikode beach . I got busy with some academic work and medical issues.

As a Google Local Guide, I love discovering and sharing unique places on Google Maps. KLF, held in January 24, 2025, was a perfect place to explore. Not only for book lovers but for anyone who enjoys culture, food, and lively discussions.

KLF is special because it happens right on Kozhikode Beach. I had a delegate pass, which give me access to the discussion rooms and offers on the book stall.

As a book lover the main reason of the visit to KLF was to checkout few books.

To my surprise I found these book cover. They are eco-friendly and reusable onces.

Imagine listening to famous authors speak while feeling the cool sea breeze. The festival had many sessions with writers, journalists, and thinkers talking about books, world events, and interesting ideas.

One of the best parts of my trip was updating Google Maps with new locations, building, businesses and making edits. I found some great bookstalls, cafes, and food stalls around the festival area.

Kozhikode is famous for its biryani, banana chips, and Sulaimani chai. But due to my health issues I could only try the sulaimani chai… But the friends who came with me did enjoy those food at Paragon Restaurant.

KLF is not just about books, it’s about exploring new ideas, meeting interesting people, and enjoying Kerala’s beauty. It’s a great event for Local Guides because there’s so much to discover and share on Google Maps.
