Recap: [In-Person] India, January 12, Exploring Vedic Park

Hello Friends,

I thoroghly enjoyed this fulfilling meet-up with you all at Ved Van Park on 12-January-2025. Thank you  so much for your valuable companionship.

About Venue

Ved Van Park is India’s first Vedic theme park which is based in Delhi NCR, Noida. This park is spread over an area of over 100 acres. The park is divided into several zones named after a renowned Vedic sage.

Thousands of plants and trees are there in the park which have the Vedic significance including Kalpavriksha, Neem and Coconut.

In the evening time there is a laser and sound show describing the story of the Vedas surrounded by beautiful and colourful water fountains.

It’s a great place to educate ourselves about the Vedic culture and heritage while visiting this park.

Meet-up Initiation

Since it was a physical meet-up, I reached the venue 10 minutes before the start time which was at 11.00 AM to welcome our confirmed attendees but at the last minute due to one or the other reason no one could join in person. However, on a special request of some of the keen participants, this meet-up was opened to virtual attendees with the help of our dear friend @PrasadVR.

Exploration

For first 30 minutes I explored the venue as per the published objectives to

  1. Explore the Vedic Theme
  2. Capture the nature and its beauty through this park
  3. Explore the Accessibility to walk through this park

During this time, I have also figured out what all to cover in next 30 minutes with the online attendees and captured the photos to meet the published objectives of this meet-up.

Here is the glimpse of the photos to address the above mentioned three objectives:

1. Explore the Vedic Theme

2. Capture the nature and its beauty through this park

3. Explore the Accessibility to walk through this park

Online Collaboration

Sharp at 11.30 AM with the presence of @PrasadVR, we extended this meet-up to the online attendees. I am thankful to all ten online attendees to join this meet-up. @PrasadVR, @AjitThite, @giteshsharma, @Gurukrishnapriya, @Manishhh, @PrinceKumar, @RosyKohli, @Rushikesh_joshi, @Sagarkanherkar and @TravellerG.

I have walked them through the park and touched upon the key aspects including but not only limited to Four Vedas, Gayatri Mantra, Sun’s Principle, Vedic significance of Pi. We all enjoyed the natural beauty through this park and online attendees have taken some photos as well. Together we discussed about the accessibility to this park and found it accessible to wheelchair :wheelchair:.

Meet-Up Closure

We closed the meeting thanking each one of us sparing time for this meet-up and before closing the meet-up group photos (screenshots) were taken. Below is the glimpse of those photos.
